SCOPE: Give this cherished community’s logo a fresh, modern update while keeping the heart of its story intact. Their original logo was inspired by the historic mill space they worship in, but they were ready for a cleaner, more contemporary look. After meeting with the board of directors, we explored different directions—from intricate nautical elements to more abstract shapes that reflected their warm and welcoming nature. The challenge? Creating a design that resonated with a younger audience while still honoring their Harbor name. Through our discussions, one key theme stood out—music is deeply woven into their services. That led us to explore the idea of incorporating a sound wave into the design.

RESULT: After refining and fine-tuning, we landed on a concept that hits all the right notes—a sound wave that doubles as a city skyline, reflecting beautifully in the harbor. And for a subtle but meaningful touch, we tucked their brand initials right into the design. The final look is modern, meaningful, and full of energy. Safe to say, they loved it! Their new brand feels fresh yet timeless, and they rolled it out with pride.
